Requirements

• Key Responsibilities:
• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel, PHP, Livewire and related technologies.
• API and Backend Services: Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services that integrate with databases, third party services, and frontend applications.
• Database Design and Optimization: Design and optimize relational database
• schemas, write efficient queries, and manage migrations using MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• System Design and Architecture: Contribute to backend architecture and system design, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of core services.
• Code Quality and Testing: Write clean, maintainable, and well documented code. Implement unit and integration tests, and participate in regular code reviews.
• Performance, Security, and Debugging: Identify and fix performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and production issues using logs, monitoring, and profiling tools.
• Integration and Automation: Integrate with third party APIs, payment gateways, and internal services. Work with queues, caching, and scheduling features in Laravel (Redis, Horizon, queues, cron etc.).
• Complex API Aggregation: Lead the architecture for multi-supplier search and
• normalization engines (e.g., aggregating massive JSON payloads from APIs using Redis caching to ensure sub-second response times.
• Multi-Vendor & Payment Architecture: Implement complex payment routing, split payments, and marketplace webhook handling for subscription and service-based platforms.
• Collaboration and Delivery: Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Developers, DevOps, and QA to plan sprints, deliver features on time, and continuously improve the product.
• Qualifications:
• Candidates who can join immediately or at short notice will be given priority.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in backend development using Laravel and modern PHP.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture, RESTful API design, and object oriented programming principles.
• Hands-on experience with Eloquent ORM, query builder, migrations, and database optimization (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as Laravel Breeze, Passport, Sanctum, or similar.
• Good understanding of caching, queues, job scheduling, and event based development in Laravel.
• Deep proficiency in Livewire, Alpine.js, and Tailwind CSS for dynamic frontend integration and any modern framework such as Vue or React is a plus.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar will be considered an advantage.
• Strong grasp of software design patterns, clean code principles, and agile development practices.
• Excellent problem solving skills, debugging ability, and communication skills.
